This Is Man V Food Host Casey Webb's Favorite Food City
Casey Webb is best known for his work in the TV show, Man V Food. As reported by the Travel Channel, the TV personality was raised in Brooklyn and started working in the food industry when he was just 14 years old, washing dishes. Eventually, he tried his hand at all sorts of occupations, including bartending and selling wine and spirits. When he was asked what made him want to be a part of the TV show, he replied, "This is a dream job! I get to combine my two passions — the restaurant business and performing. I love meeting new people and traveling, so I am having the time of my life criss-cross our beautiful country making new friends and taking on epic challenges!"
As far as the challenges on Man V Food are concerned, his approach is simple: they're mental rather than physical so he tries to stay focused and committed. But what about his approach to travel? While Webb clearly enjoys visiting different places, what city does he enjoy eating in most?
He's a fan of New Orleans
One of Webb's favorite food cities is New Orleans! In an interview with Food & Wine, he said that he'd never gotten a chance to explore New Orleans before he became a part of Man V Food. He visited the city in 2017 and then he discovered that the show would be filming in New Orleans later that year. Webb was pleasantly surprised. "When you get to revisit a place in such a short span of time, it can be really powerful," he explained. "I got to revisit some of my favorite places for po' boys and creole food, along with discovering new spots too."
He also expressed excitement about Creole Creamery's ice cream challenge in New Orleans, which featured an eight-scoop sundae that tipped the scales at four pounds (via Nola). Evidently, the way to Webb's stomach was through his heart. "I'm in love with New Orleans," he said. Well, it seems safe to say that enjoying The Big Easy is clearly no challenge for the host of Man V Food.
