Chick-Fil-A Employees Reveal The Least-Ordered Menu Items

One of the most popular restaurant chains in the country, Chick-fil-A has a plethora of options for its loyalists if they're craving for a plate of crispy chicken nuggets or perhaps want to dig into a generous serving of waffle chicken fries (via Taste of Home). These happened to be two of the most-liked options at the fast food chain last year. The nuggets are often accompanied by delicious sauces, like the evergreen Chick-fil-A sauce.

On the flip side, there are some menu items that simply don't seem to have what it takes to stand out from their counterparts and are often ignored by the restaurant's patrons. A recent Reddit post delved into some of the least ordered items at Chick-fil-A and the responses from self-identified employees at the restaurant are quite intriguing, as they shed more light on what works and doesn't quite take off at the fast food chain. Read on for more details.

Some of the options include the Frosted Sunrise and chips

Seems like Chick-fil-A's customers are not too thrilled about some of its menu options, such as the frosted beverages, applesauce, and even wraps. The self-described Chick-fil-A employee who came up with the Reddit post wrote that they believe that the Frosted Sunrise is one of the most ignored items on the menu. Perhaps proving that point, one person replied, "Wait. You can still get the frosted sunrise?" Another commenter asked, "What is this?" In case you're not sure what it is, according to the official Chick-fil-A website, the Frosted Sunrise combines Chick-fil-A's Icedream with orange juice and goes well with a wrap or a chicken salad.

Other menu options that don't seem to get a lot of attention from customers? The Frosted Strawberry Lemonade, the Frosted Diet Lemonade, and chips. One Chick-fil-A employee wrote, "Chips, my dude, we have them and we go through a couple bags a week if that, they only exist to go with catering orders and I wouldn't be surprised if they get ignored completely when everyone chows down." Another agreed with this statement and wrote that they've only really observed customers ordering chips for packaged meals and when they can't have fries due to the fryer not working.
