What Chopped Winner Silvia Baldini Is Up To Now

Sometimes, all you need to do is sit back and watch reality television to de-stress after a long day. One of the most popular names on television? Chopped, of course. As per Insider, the show does particularly well because of the fact that it combines delicious cooking with plenty of drama to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the viewing experience. Contestants are confronted with several challenges on the show such as working with a mystery basket full of ingredients as soon as the clock starts ticking. The pressure is definitely high here!

The show often features incredibly diverse chefs from a variety of backgrounds. Consider Silvia Baldini, for example. The Italian chef, who won the show in 2015 (via Country Living), has a rather interesting backstory. As per her official website, the chef was raised in Italy and moved to the U.S. in her teens, working in advertising and becoming an art director before exploring her passion for cooking. She was, interestingly, "the first female chef in Connecticut to win Chopped."

Silvia Baldini remains as active as ever

After winning Chopped, Baldini continued to focus on her culinary dreams. She has her hands full, really. For example, according to her website, she continues to enthrall her fans with her cooking series online and has also been a lead chef for RealEats, which is a service geared towards healthy editing and supporting local farmers (via RealEasts). Plus, she also co-founded The Secret Ingredient Girls, a store that encourages its followers to embrace wholesome food and mindful eating.

She also has a massive Instagram following and continues to stay active on the platform, delighting her fans with regular updates from her life. As per her LinkedIn profile, she's also involved in several other food-centric projects such as Strawberry and Sage, Grace Farms Foods, and Zymmo. The chef is undoubtedly focused on her love for food and has no plans of slowing down. One of her recent social media posts focuses on her work with Grace Farms Foods where she works on trying to create inventive and environmentally friendly products. She explained on Instagram, "We searched for sustainable, ingredients so that our food not only tastes great but also uses ingredients that are kind to our world and respectful to our environment."
