People Are Freaking Out About This Viral TikTok Subway Order
We're all guilty of overindulging from time to time, whether that means treating yourself to an entire pint of Ben & Jerry's, or asking for an extra layer (or two) of cheese on your pizza. That same "treat yo' self" mindset applies to ordering sandwiches too, which is probably one of the reasons why the beloved fast-food restaurant, Subway, is so popular. Customers can design their sandwich however they'd like, with whatever bread, toppings, and sauces they want.
That said, some Subway employees have had to fulfill some pretty bizarre sandwich requests, including combos like "a tuna sub topped with 'two Splenda packages'" and "a cold-cut combo topped with an entire bottle of oil" (via Radio).
The bizarre sandwich requests don't end there, though. Recently, a video posted by TikTok user @immommyanddaddy2 has been making its rounds on the video-sharing app and accumulating millions of views –– and TikTok users have a lot to say about it.
The infamous order
The video shows a Subway employee adding a lot, and we mean a lot, of what looks like Creamy Sriracha sauce to a sandwich. Meanwhile, the customer tells the employee that she wants her to "drown" her sandwich in the sauce. "It needs to be oozing," she insists, as she continues asking for more.
As you could probably guess, there's a lot going on in the comments section of that video –– with many TikTok users speculating whether the customer is actually playing a prank on the employees or not. "Plot twist: She ALSO has someone filming secretly, because this is a prank," says one user. "I bet it was a prank tbh. I see people daring their friends to do things like this all the time," says another.
However, other current and ex-Subway employees chimed in, too. "Stuff like this is actually a regular occurrence," one user comments, while another says, "When I worked at Subway a regular would do this to a flatbread BLT...but with that much mayo." On that note, if it's not a prank, more power to that woman for treating herself.
