The Store-Bought Dressing Nadia G Swears By

There's really no denying that most foods taste better (and are better for you) when made from scratch. A bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup? We'll take it. Fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies right out of the oven? Yes, please. A hunk of fluffy sourdough bread that didn't come from a bag? Absolutely. Even homemade condiments are often more flavorful and healthier than the stuff you get from a bottle or jar. Whether it's pesto, mayonnaise, or peanut butter, there are tons of recipes out there for your favorite spreads and sauces.

However, there are some pre-made condiments that can be trickier to replicate at home. Take salad dressing, for instance. While you can make your own, there are certain store-bought dressings that just hit different. Even Nadia G, the host of the Cooking Channel's Bitchin' Kitchen, agrees. Here's the one salad dressing that the Canadian chef prefers buying instead of making.

Nadia G is a big fan of Cindy's Kitchen salad dressing

Ranch dressing is one of the most popular salad dressings, and one of the most popular condiments overall, according to an Influenster survey. Nadia G also loves herself some ranch — but she doesn't necessarily like to make it herself. And even more surprisingly, she doesn't reach for the OG Hidden Valley Ranch bottle when she's at the store. Instead, she opts for a lesser-known brand. "Open up a jar of your favorite tuna, add baby spinach and smother it all with creamy, tangy Cindy's Kitchen buttermilk ranch dressing," she told The Food Network.

Cindy's Kitchen prides itself on its all-natural, "clean" salad dressings made with better-for-you ingredients. The brand's line-up consists of more than just ranch — it also offers unique dressings like citrus beet vinaigrette, champagne dijon, and vidalia onion and cilantro. Want to try it for yourself? You can currently find Cindy's Kitchen salad dressings in Sprouts grocery stores across the country.
