The packages are on sale now for $1.79 per box, which comes with six cookies each, according to Aldi Reviewer. This special find is available in chocolate, hazelnut, and peanut butter flavors and will only be on shelves for a limited time.
However, while the dessert sure looks decadent, some shoppers were on the fence about the snack. One uncertain Aldi customer decided to get a second opinion or two before purchasing the cookie, making a Reddit post asking if anyone had snacked on them yet. Other shoppers were quick to give their opinions of the product on the social media site, but not everyone could agree on whether these cookie melts were worth the buy.
One Redditor replied: "I tried the chocolate one and it was surprisingly bland. Not much flavor at all," and another user agreed the peanut butter flavor had a similar problem.
