Fans of the "Great British Baking Show" will be feeling even happier because Candice Brown is publishing a new cookbook. While many people remember Brown from the popular baking series from across the pond, the talented baker was able to parlay that win into more than just earning a title on a food television series. Her first cookbook, "Comfort: Delicious Bakes and Family Treats," featured easy and approachable recipes but with a touch of fabulous, just like her iconic lipstick pout.

In her new cookbook, "Happy Cooking," the recipes are said to center on soothing the soul, as well as offering recipes that "nourish, restore and revive" (via The Happy Foodie). While some of the recipes seem to focus on simple comfort foods, it appears that Brown wants to convey the idea of cooking as therapy. Having been open about her own personal mental health struggles, some of these recipes convey the idea of cooking as an emotional outlet. Through simple cooking tips and easy to master recipes, this cookbook is said to balance a touch of nostalgia with favorite dishes. The celebrity chef's new cookbook is currently available in the U.K. and will be available in the U.S. beginning in October 2021, per Amazon

What can diners expect at Candice Brown's restaurant?

While Brown might have impressed fans of the "Great British Bake-Off" with her desserts fit for a queen, anyone can enjoy a seat at her pub table. As the co-owner of The Green Man in Eversholt, England, the chef and her brother have created a welcoming pub for the "whole community." The team commented that the pub is about creating a comfortable spot that is "a home away from home where everyone is welcome."

Looking at the restaurant's website, the duo took an old building and transformed it into a modern pub. Although the location might have a long, storied history, the food options have a more modern approach. While there is an a la carte menu and bar menu, the dessert menu has been created by Brown. Although it is unclear how often the menu changes, a sampling of desserts on the current menu included Sticky Toffee Pudding, Lime Possett, and Chocolate Orange Olive Oil Cake.
