Trisha Yearwood Had This Super Relatable Cosmetic Mishap While Filming Trisha's Southern Kitchen

Trisha Yearwood is no stranger to the spotlight as her incredible vocals have earned her three Grammy Awards, three Country Music Association awards, and two Academy of Country Music Awards (via The Boot). The country music icon has been on stage countless times in the shape of delivering awards, accepting them, hosting, and, our favorite, performing. She is also a cookbook author, actor of the small screen (via IMDb), animal lover (per CMT), and married to country music megastar Garth Brooks.

In 2012, the multi-talented songstress embarked on a new and exciting journey, as the Food Network debuted "Trisha's Southern Kitchen," which has since earned two Daytime Emmy Awards and just wrapped up its 16th season (via Outsider and the Food Network website).

With Trisha's experience, personality, and ability to find the humor in life, we are not surprised at how she handled a recent snafu while filming her successful reality cooking series.

Even icons can lose their lashes

It turned out Trisha Yearwood was wearing only one false eyelash during the final day of filming "Trisha's Southern Kitchen" for the season. She took to her Instagram to show off her look. In a video post, Yearwood divulges that she had no clue about the missing accessory: "Can you tell that I'm just wearing one false eyelash? 'Cause I can't." The video, along with a selfie of the one-lash wonder, was received with delight and shared humor by her followers. It has already amassed over 8,000 likes and loads of comments.

Fans posted laughing and heart emojis and complimentary comments, including "beautiful both ways," "OMG! I love you!!!" and "Beautiful keep that light bright!!!!" Yearwood's makeup mishap makes her more likable (if that's at all possible) and relatable, as there are so many people who have experienced the mystery of a missing eyelash. Evidently, some Instagram users knew all too well how it feels, posting remarks like "So my lashes" and "Hahaha Looks like me everyday!" Yearwood's amusing reveal offers a light, behind-the-scenes look into the world of a megastar and just goes to show that, sometimes, even legends lose their lashes.
