Wing Boss Just Teamed Up With Dr Pepper For A New Sauce
If you enjoy biting into hot chicken wings, you're probably familiar with Wing Boss, a promising virtual concept from Dickey's Barbecue Pit. On its website, the brand states that its chicken wings are exactly the way you'd expect them to be: "perfectly smoked" and then fried and coated in a feisty sauce or rub. While Wing Boss first appeared in Dallas, Texas, it has now made its way to several cities in the country and is constantly coming up with new ways to appeal to its fans.
For example, as per Restaurant Dive, the company recently decided to open a brick-and-mortar restaurant dedicated exclusively to Wing Boss in Dallas. The plans are ambitious and the restaurant will have a full bar, signature beverage options, bone-in and boneless wings, and a lot more. Customers will also be able to select group options while choosing their takeaway meals. Another feather in the brand's cap? It has now teamed up with Dr Pepper to prepare a special kind of sauce for its fans (via Chew Boom.)
Dr Pepper brings the sweetness to this new barbecue sauce
As reported by Chew Boom, the collaboration with Dr Pepper and Wing Boss is going to be super interesting for those who are on the lookout for more unconventional options while customizing their meals. The new sauce is called Dr Pepper Barbecue Sauce and is a tribute to the popular drink with its sweet and smoky flavors. "We are thrilled to offer such a fun and delicious sauce to our Wing Boss fans," Laura Rea Dickey, CEO, Dickey's Barbecue Restaurants, Inc said in a statement (via Globe News Wire.)
Dickey added that the collaboration is particularly interesting because it includes the major Dallas-based brand, Keurig Dr Pepper. Dickey went on to add, "We hope this is just the beginning of more tasty collaborations to come." Customers who order tasty wings from Wing Boss will be able to enjoy free home delivery on all meals above $10. Sounds like a tempting offer, doesn't it?
