Panera Confirms What TikTok Already Suspected About This Sandwich

It's practically a universal truth that humans are particularly bad at keeping secrets, particularly if they involve something we think we'd like or have been waiting for. So we can only imagine that Panera Bread fans in general – and the fanbase on social media in particular – were relieved to find out that the new Grilled Mac & Cheese Sandwich that was leaked on TikTok has arrived in early September. As described in the video, dated August 28th, the sandwich features two slices of Classic White Miche with Parmesan crisps and Panera's famous Mac & Cheese thrown into the mix (via the Panera Bread website).

If all that sounds like a lot, we suggest you look the other way before putting in your order because as Panera itself points out, one serving of its Grilled Mac & Cheese Sandwich could set you back by at least 860 calories, not including sides; although it may make you feel virtuous to know that the sides on offer include salads and fruit. Chips are also an option if you feel like going all the way.

Panera has more cheesy goodness and a way to wash it all down

If you're really in the mood to indulge in a complete cheese-apalooza, there's always the other offer that the fast casual restaurant unveiled alongside its Grilled Mac & Cheese Sandwich (via Brand Eating). Specifically, Panera fans may also want to head over for a serving of the chain's Sausage & Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza, which sees a blanket of tomato bell pepper sauce topped with chicken sausage and thickly sliced pepperoni as well as sausage crumbles, all with a blend of mozzarella and Fontina cheeses (via the Panera Bread website). The Sausage & Pepperoni Flatbread Pizza will set you back by 870 calories per serving.

And if you find yourself getting snoozy after the mac and cheese sandwich or the flatbread, you can wake up with a jolt of Panera's Cinnamon Crunch Latte, which was inspired by its popular Cinnamon Crunch bagel (via Today) because fall is almost here and because why not.
