This Is The First Meal Anne Burrell Cooked For Her New Husband

Chef and Food Network celeb Anne Burrell is officially off the market. Per People, Burrell wed now-husband Stuart Claxton in a ceremony in her hometown of Cazenovia, New York, over the past weekend. Naturally, the reception menu was fantastic with starters that included cauliflower steak topped with caviar, a pasta course with goat cheese, and butternut squash ravioli, and the entrée options included braised short ribs and potato-crusted halibut. There were two cakes, both made by Cake Boss Buddy Valastro, one a zucchini cake, and another made with olive oil, lemon, and rosemary.

According to Today, the couple decided to forgo a honeymoon, choosing instead to head back to their home in Brooklyn. "So I'm very happy to just have some home time, and enjoy newlywed bliss at home for a little while," Burrell said. The trip home included a meal at a truck stop diner in Pennsylvania for some classic comfort food, but it was when the couple got home that the real feasting began.

Carbonara for life

Anne Burrell posted a pic of the first meal she prepared for Claxton on her Instagram account. The classic dish was a plate of her favorite carbonara, and it seems as though the couple was still on their comfort food kick since eating at the diner. "The first dinner I'm making my new husband is Carbonara!! The PERFECT comfort food!!" Burrell captioned the post. Comments poured in from adoring fans, both congratulating the couple and drooling over the delectable dish. "This is amazing!! Wishing you a long happy life together," commented @theycallmegell, and @jennolucas9877 succinctly yet sweetly wrote, "Made with love."

Burrell's spaghetti alla carbonara recipe can be found among some of her other signature recipes, including those for Asian-style chicken meatballs, killer mac and cheese with bacon, and chicken pho found on her recipe page on the Food Network website. We wish the couple a lifetime of love, happiness, and yummy food!
