The Pioneer Woman's Fans Can't Get Over How Much Her Son Has Grown
Ree Drummond's son Todd is all grown up — well, almost all grown up. At 17, this football-playing young man is a far reach from the younger child we remember from the Pioneer Woman's early days on television. And by far-reaching, we actually mean "a lot taller."
The Food Network star shared an Instagram photo with her son from a recent football game, a picture in which Todd towers over his famous mom. "I was freezing the entire game. (Note to self: Take your puffy coat from now on just in case, Ree Ree, I still loved every second," the proud mom captioned the photo, including the freezing face emoji. "Um, Todd!! I'm so proud of you, son! Go Huskies!!"
Todd is the youngest out of the Drummond kids — in addition to Todd, Ree and husband Ladd Drummond also share daughters Alex and Paige, as well as son Bryce and "bonus kid" Jamar. And his own Instagram shares primarily reflect his favorite interests: football, football, and more football. Todd may not be a small child any longer, but he still has big football dreams.
Fans are clearly wowed by this handsome young gentleman at the Pioneer Woman's side — and amazed at how much he's grown.
Ree Drummond's youngest son is growing up so fast
Ree Drummond's most recent Instagram post with 17-year-old son Todd had fans in shock at how much he's grown.
One said what we're all thinking: "So hard to believe thats Todd! Watching your beautiful family grow up is so sweet!" they wrote. Another fan agreed, sharing, "Omg that is toddie my oh my he is all grown up! So handsome." A third user, however, notes that growing up is bittersweet. "Where has little Todd gone?" they asked, adding three heart emojis.
As for Todd's height, Pioneer Woman revealed on her blog that her youngest is in striking distance of outgrowing his older sibling Jamar. He's now a high school football quarterback with dreams of playing in college.
Ree previously shared the sweet sentiments Todd's older siblings gave him on his 17th birthday in June. "From little league to PHS starting QB, u never fail to make me a proud sis!! You will always be a nugget to me!" Alex wrote, while sister Paige noted how Todd holds the family together. She also shared her nickname for her brother, "Nunkie."
While we in awe of how fast it feels like the youngest Drummond has grown, it's clear he's happy and thriving on his way to adulthood.
