Experience
Katie has worked professionally in the media industry for over 10 years. She began her career as an intern at Town & Country, which led to work at Seventeen magazine. From there, worked as a health writer for Everyday Health — where she interviewed nutritionists and fitness influencers, learned how to scour medical studies, learned the process of breaking down a nutrition facts label, and healed her relationship with food. To close out her corporate career, she spent almost 3 years working for Horoscope.com as a senior editor, where she bridged her journalism expertise with her own astrology career. Since then, Katie has been a freelance journalist for many media outlets including Reader's Digest, DailyOm, Lose It!, StyleCaster, and more.
Education
Katie received a bachelor's degree in English language and literature from New York University. She then received her master's degree from Durham University in the United Kingdom.
