Kim Kohatsu has been writing for advertising and marketing clients for more than 20 years, including everything from TV and radio commercials to print ads, blogs, emails, social posts, and video scripts. She has earned recognition for her work from D&AD, The One Show, The Richmond Show, the Pollie Awards, and the American Advertising Federation, among others. Kim currently serves as the Marketing and PR Agencies chair for the Forbes Business Council.


A prolific communicator, Kim graduated from Syracuse University with bachelor's degrees in advertising, political science, and French. She earned her master's degree from Virginia Commonwealth University's Adcenter (now Brandcenter) in copywriting.
