Laura has worked as a professional writer for five years. She got her start at Mountain Xpress, an arts and culture publication in Asheville, North Carolina, where she delved into everything from sourdough starters and food truck competitions to the history of pizza. As a Senior City Editor for AVLtoday, she's had the privilege of covering Asheville's restaurant scene as it has launched into national acclaim over the last decade. She joined Static Media in 2023.
