The Fry Bowl Rihanna Always Orders At Her Favorite NYC Diner

For many, Rihanna was the true star of the Super Bowl LVII. Chiefs and Eagles fans can both collectively agree that the singer of "Diamonds" completely nailed her Halftime Show performance, and those who weren't already dazzled by Queen Riri are now officially starstruck.

For those who didn't already know, the owner of Fenty Beauty calls multiple places her home. She owns properties in Barbados and Los Angeles, and also has lived in London for some time (via Hello! Magazine). But the star also has a sweet spot for New York City, living in a Soho Penthouse that was listed for $13 million in November 2022, according to Robb Report. And although Rihanna doesn't live in "The City That Never Sleeps" anymore, she has made a lot of memories and relationships within the city. One particular diner has a special place in her heart, and there is one dish that she is especially fond of.

Rihanna loves the Lomo Saltado

Back when she lived in New York City, the artist frequented a diner called Coppelia in the West Village. Known for putting Latin twists on classics such as omelets and Brussel sprouts, Coppelia has been a favorite of Riri's for years. But whether she is showing up on early mornings or late nights, as the diner is open 24/7, there is one dish she is almost guaranteed to order.

That is none other than the Lomo Saltado, which is described on its menu as, "Peruvian-style beef short ribs stir-fry, red onions, tomato, fries, light soy, ginger, sambal, white rice." And according to an Insider reviewer, this dish was worth the hype. For the price of $29, the writer got a huge portion of fries, which was stacked with colorful toppings. And although some might find the combination of food items to be bizarre, the reviewer actually thought they worked pretty well together.

Coppelia had seen Rihanna through her New York City long-lasting era, which included 5 a.m. breakfast dates, and this dish was a mere part of this journey.
