Pizza French toast has quite a few popular videos with one made by TikTok user @giorgiafitfood. In her video she claims the dish can be made in 2 minutes and has received over 584,000 views. Her special ingredient is using hot dog buns for flavor, however, there is no right way to do this. Ingredients in the video include hot dog buns, pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese slices, pepperoni, an egg, milk, oregano, and butter. One user commented, "I'm making pizza with bread right now and now I wish I made this instead."
The version made by TikTok user @fitwaffle uses actual white bread and makes a pizza sandwich before proceeding to cut it up, dip it in eggs, and pan fry it. Some users argue in the comments that the lack of cinnamon in the dish makes it "eggy bread" and not French toast.
