Popular discount grocery chain Aldi continues to expand briskly in the U.S., with nearly 2,800 locations expected by the end of 2026, and plans to add another 400 stores in the two years after that (per Aldi). Behind that growth is the loyalty of many devoted fans and the ability to draw in new customers, both driven in large part by saving money. In fact, the chain claimed in its 2026 Price Leadership Report that it has the lowest prices of any national grocer. On top of its already affordable inventory, Aldi is offering sales on select items throughout October 2026.

We've rounded up a dozen selections with price cuts this October, and they're all from Aldi's private-label brands except one. The chain's key inventory tactic is relying on its own brands, which make up most of what it sells, instead of big national names. At the same time, it doesn't sacrifice quality, which is why some of Aldi's store-brand products are better than the originals. The sales event includes seasonal and fall-flavor products, sweet and savory snacks, cooking and condiment mainstays, and more.

Priano tomato basil pasta sauce

Toss pasta with Priano tomato basil sauce for traditional flavor made with natural ingredients including diced and pureed tomatoes, onions, garlic, basil, and olive oil. The 24-ounce jar is $2.45, a 26% markdown from the usual $3.29. The same discounted price also applies to Priano's marinara and four cheese sauces. The latter is made with parmesan, pecorino Romano, provolone, and ricotta cheeses.

Benton's Pumpkin Spice and Apple Pie Sandwich Crèmes

Peruse Aldi's cookie aisle in October, and you'll see Benton's pumpkin spice and apple pie sandwich crèmes. The crème nestled between two golden cookies bursts with the fall flavors you crave when sweater weather returns. Each 15.25-ounce package is 16% off for a new total of $2.49.

Specially Selected acacia honey with comb

This Specially Selected acacia honey with comb features a delicate flavor and now a slashed price of $7.39 for a 12-ounce jar — a 16% discount from its original $8.79 price. Some of the honeycomb is included, which can be eaten by itself, spread on toast, or served with a cheeseboard, and those are just some of the many ways there are to enjoy it.

Priano extra virgin olive oil

Priano's Extra Virgin Olive Oil is one of the best olive oils you can buy at Aldi, with a mild flavor that enhances everything from salads to cooked veggies to crusty bread or prepared dishes finished with a generous drizzle. The cooking staple is always a pricier grocery item, so the 14% price cut is welcome, bringing the 33.8-fluid-ounce bottle's cost down to $10.99 from $12.75.

Waterloo root beer float sparkling water

Our only choice that isn't an Aldi brand is Waterloo root beer float sparkling water. It's inspired by the classic ice cream shop treat, and features natural flavors with no calories, sugar, or sweeteners. The $4.39 case of eight 12-ounce cans is currently 13% off. Waterloo collaborated with celebrity chef Guy Fieri's Flavortown brand on this sparkling water flavor and two others, coconut lime cooler and apple pie à la mode, which are also available at the same discounted price.

Baker's Corner canned pumpkin

Get a jump start on holiday season pie-making prep by snapping up sale-priced Baker's Corner canned pumpkin. The 100% pure pumpkin is $1.75 for a 15-ounce can, marked down from $1.99. If you buy some extra ones to cook or bake with beyond Thanksgiving, there are many other creative ways to use canned pumpkin.

Friendly Farms lowfat Greek yogurt

Friendly Farms' lowfat Greek yogurt in vanilla and strawberry is a tasty and nutritious snack that can also round out a light meal. Each 5.3-ounce serving cup has 12 grams of protein and 2 grams each of sugar and fat. In early October, a four-cup pack has been reduced by 5% to $4.09 from $4.29.

Clancy's cinnamon apple straws

The sweet, spiced, apple-flavored crunchy snack that is Clancy's cinnamon apple straws is different from the same old potato chips, pretzels, and popcorn. At $2.75 for a six-ounce bag, they're marked down by 11% from the usual $3.09. The tube-shaped, multigrain pieces are made with corn, rice, wheat, oat, and barley flours, and contain real apple puree.

Aldi's chocolate coated berries

Aldi's frozen double coated raspberries and strawberries are decadently dipped in two rich chocolate layers. Both are covered in white chocolate, then the strawberries get a layer of milk chocolate and the raspberries a layer of dark. These frozen fruits come in 8-ounce bags that originally cost $7.25, but are discounted to $6.05.

Burman's hot sauce

Burman's hot sauce brings the heat for people who like their food with a kick. Aged red cayenne peppers blend with vinegar, garlic powder, and salt to produce its flavorful, spicy taste. In October, 12-ounce bottles of the store-brand condiment are on sale for $1.35 apiece.

Bake Shop 7Up lemon lime cake

Bake Shop's 7Up lemon lime cake features the taste of the classic soda in a Bundt-shaped baked treat topped with a citrus glaze. The label says it's "made with real 7Up flavor" and displays the fizzy drink's logo. The 20-ounce cake's discounted price is $4.39, 11% less than the standard $4.95.

Simply Nature organic sweet teas

A thirst-quenching favorite is boosted with added fruit, and currently, it's cheaper than usual. Simply Nature's organic sweet tea in raspberry and lemon is made with organic black tea, sugar, and natural flavor. The 16-ounce bottles cost $1.09, down from $1.75. The 38% discount is the biggest among our chosen products, and the tea is also available without fruit flavor at the same price.
