Aldi Just Brought Back Its Fan-Favorite Cheesecake Factory Desserts
Cheesecake Factory fans, rejoice! The brand's mix-in dessert cups are back in US Aldi stores for a limited time, according to Instagrammer @aldifavoritefinds (via Instagram). If you're not familiar with these pre-portioned dessert cups, the caption of the post describes them as "like an adult version of a childhood pudding cup." Each cup contains a creamy pudding and a crunchy topping hidden in the lid for mixing together into a perfect, restaurant-quality dessert at home.
The two flavors on offer this time are Cafe Mocha ("espresso infused pudding with a decadent mix-in of dark chocolate cookie crunch") and Crème Brûlée (Crème Brûlée inspired pudding with a decadent caramel crunch mix-in"), and they'll run you just $1.69 each.
The announcement of this triumphant return gained over a thousand likes in less than a day, plus almost 75 comments from hungry Aldi fans. Some had never heard of the dessert before, writing: "I will have to try them!" and "I needddddd." Others were thrilled to have their old favorite back, even for a short time, commenting: "both are [delicious]. I plan on buying a BUNCH this week. Lol" and "Scoop these up they are delicious!!!" However, one flavor seems to be much more popular than the other (at least among these Instagram commenters).
Which flavor of Cheesecake Factory Mix-In Desserts should you try?
In @aldifavoritefinds' recent post about the limited-time return of The Cheesecake Factory's Mix-In Desserts, one flavor got a lot more love than the other and that flavor was Crème Brûlée (via Instagram). Commenters gushed about the flavor, writing: "Omg the creme brûlée is delicious" and "I bought 3 of the creme brulee yesterday. They are so indulgent!" and even: "My fav is the creme brûlée...... addicted!!!" The mocha flavor has fans too, with one commenter calling it "amazing."
If you're excited to get your hands on some of these decadent desserts, there are a couple things you should know. First: they contain milk, egg, and soy, so not ideal if you're allergic or sensitive to any of those ingredients (via Delish). Second: you can find them in the refrigerated section of your local Aldi, near where they stock the yogurt (and not in the freezer section, as one commenter thought). Finally, if you already know you love these pudding cups, you might want to stock up since, according to @aldifavoritefinds, they "won't be in Aldi very long" (via Instagram).
