Twitter Is Loving Elton John And Lil Nas X's New Uber Eats Commercial

Uber Eats recently rolled out a new advertising campaign, "Tonight I'll Be Eating," and the delivery company has paired together some flashy personalities for the commercials, People reports. Celebrities like Jonathan Van Ness and Simone Biles have already had ads run, but the latest duo, Elton John and Lil Nas X, might be everyone's favorite so far. In a short video, available on YouTube, the two musicians are sitting in a living room where John is next to a piano.

The two musicians traded memorable outfits from past events or performances, with John donning a hot pink cowboy suit that is a nod to Lil Nas X's 2020 Grammy Awards look, while Lil Nas X wears a feathered rainbow costume similar to what John wore while performing on "The Muppet Show" in 1977. They compliment each other's good taste for the entirety of the video after Lil Nas X says he'll be eating lobster ravioli with truffle that night. It's a fun mash-up that fans certainly loved.

The ads reveal these stars' food preferences

Uber Eats posted the ad on Twitter with the caption, "Just two icons keeping it casual. @lilnasx @eltonofficial, you both look amazing." Fans of both musicians were quick to respond to the tweet. One user said, "I love those two!! Icons!!" On YouTube, fans were simply in awe of the pairing. "When TRUE Queens come together real magic happens," wrote His Majesty. "Hopefully they collaborate on music eventually," Bryden King chimed in.

If you liked the stars' looks in that video, make sure you check out the duo's other Uber Eats ads, where their 'fits are just as spectacular. One user watched the "Rides" video, in which Lil Nas X orders a buffalo chicken panini and John opts for salmon sushi, "an unhealthy amount of times." In a third advertisement, we learn the artists' stances on a very important debate: Mayonnaise versus ketchup on french fries. "Mayonnaise? On fries?" Lil Nas X responds to John's dinner order. "A little judgy, don't you think?" John coolly retorts. In perfect pitch, Lil Nas X sings, "That's weird."
