This Is Anne Burrell's Favorite Christmas Movie

When most fans think of Anne Burrell, they usually look to find out what her favorites are in the realm of food. For instance, we've learned her favorite comfort food is pasta bolognese because she has a personal connection to the dish, and her favorite drink is one she invented herself called the "Chef Anne Sparkler." The beverage contains a mix of prosecco and an Aperol splash and is served on the rocks.

She also shared with Food Network her favorite NYC spots, from Biergarten at the Standard to Babbo to 11th St. Cafe. But her most recent favorite is not food-related at all. She recently sat down with Food Network for an interview of a different nature. She joined a bevy of other chefs as she shared her favorites from the holiday season, specifically her favorite Christmas movie. She also mentioned her favorite holiday songs so fans can see if their tastes align with the famous chef.

A Christmas Classic

While Anne Burrell's food favorites are well known and praised, her Christmas favorites are less so. When asked about her favorite Christmas song, Burrell told Food Network that she loves "Rocking Around the Christmas Tree," and her answer became even more pointed in reference to her favorite Christmas movie.

She notes that it is specifically "Miracle on 34th Street, the original black-and-white version, where Natalie Wood was the little girl." Other celebs lent their opinions on favorites with songs varying from Bruce Springsteen's "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town" to "Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer" and even Adam Sandler's "The Chanukah Song." And when it comes to movies, many chefs agreed on "A Christmas Story" along with nods to "It's a Wonderful Life," "How the Grinch Stole Christmas," and "A Charlie Brown Christmas." Shockingly, Anne's picks seemed to be in the minority, or perhaps it is not so shocking coming from a somewhat rebel chef like her.
