The dish debuted on the quick service restaurant's menu in November 2021, per Chew Boom.
Oprah is a true fan of this hot sauce. Per Oprah Daily, the talk show host shared in her December 2019 issue of O, the Oprah Magazine that the hot sauce's presentation is on point and its fiery umami will make your taste buds tingle. "The packaging is cool, the hot sauce is sublime!" she wrote, adding that "Even when somebody has everything – they don't have Truff." However, it is how she suggests you use this hot sauce that makes us think she is probably a fan of Noodle & Company's Truff Mac.

According to Oprah Daily, Oprah loves TRUFF's Hot Sauces so much she told the world to "Put it on everything." Which means this hot sauce on mac and cheese is definitely a great idea, right? In a press release, Noodles & Company describes TRUFF Mac as a combo of Noodles & Company's family favorite Wisconsin Mac & Cheese with a "decadent drizzle of TRUFF's Signature Black Truffle Hot Sauce," which gets its flavor from "an ultra-unique blend of ripe chili peppers, organic agave nectar, real black truffle and savory spices."
Nick Guillen, TRUFF's Co-Founder and Co-CEO, explained why they decided to partner with Noodles & Company, saying, "Our goal with TRUFF was to create a hot sauce so unique that it would elevate any dining experience. With Noodles & Company, we had the opportunity to reinvent a dish as classic and popular as their Wisconsin Mac & Cheese."
