  • Keira has probably seen every episode of every cooking show that Gordon Ramsay has been a part of, and she's not embarrassed about it.
  • With a childhood full of memories about cooking Italian food with her mom and grandma, Keira has since found a love for cuisines from all around the world, especially Asian food.
  • While in college, Keira had two short stories and a personal essay published in her campus' literary journal over the course of two years.


Keira has had a love for reading and writing since she was a little girl and knew from a young age that she wanted writing to always be part of her life. She started her professional writing career writing for BestReviews before working at The Urban Writers as a ghostwriter. Then, she found Static Media in 2022, where she began as a Google Stories writer. The more she wrote about food, the more immersed in it she became, and now she's happy to be part of the Mashed news team.


Keira graduated from SUNY New Paltz with a bachelor's degree in English and a concentration in Creative Writing.
