Four new mouth-watering sandwiches to vote for
In Carl's Jr.'s latest attempt to stand out as a top-choice among eaters, the restaurant chain is asking customers to vote on their favorite potential new menu item in a Twitter poll. Carl's Jr. posted a photo last week of four new burger and chicken sandwich options (per Twitter). The options include the Big Cheddar Mama Burger, which shows a standard cheeseburger topped with lettuce, tomato, onion, and mayonnaise with — wait for it — a cheesy bun. The second potential item is the Wavy Gravy Burger, which appears to be a cheeseburger on top of a layer of wedge fries and gravy sauce. Ruffle Your Truffle Chicken Sandwich is the third option, showing a massive piece of fried chicken breast with tomatoes and a smother of truffle sauce. Last but not least is the Pop That Poultry Chicken Sandwich, featuring a crispy piece of chicken fashioned with cheesy jalapeño poppers.
Both the Big Cheddar Mama Burger and the Pop That Poultry Chicken Sandwich tied for first place as the potential new menu item, followed by Ruffle Your Truffle, and Wavy Gravy Burger.
