Walmart's Holiday Brownies Are Spreading Sweet Cheer On Instagram
Walmart knows how to provide customers with a holly jolly holiday season. Along with selling countless toys, the big box superstore has its own holiday section. Customers can find an entire holiday section with faux Christmas trees, ornaments, lights, and Christmas decorations. Of course, no holiday season is complete without some festive edible treats. Even if your local Walmart doesn't have a grocery section, the store makes sure to have loads of edible holiday treats for you and your guests to consume.
Of course, Walmart sells the standard items needed for any baking needs, like sugar, baking soda, and chocolate chips. Where Walmart shines is in the pre-made dessert department. One of Walmart's best-selling holiday desserts is pie. According to Chewboom, Walmart sells 700 pies per minute from November 1-December 25. For those that would like to make a more hands-on sweet treat, Walmart sells a DIY gingerbread house kit. To keep customers in the know about featured products, Walmart uploads videos on its social media channels. This year, the store created quite a stir with its "cookie charcuterie board" with all store-bought cookies. On the heels of its controversial cookie board, Walmart shared another holiday treat that has customers talking.

Walmart shared a festive video on Instagram of its newest holiday treat and its getting people in the holiday spirit. The product in the video is a brownie Christmas tree kit with all the accouterments included to create your own edible brownie tree. The Great Value Holiday Christmas Tree Brownie Kit includes a standard brownie mix, green icing, decorative candies, a yellow icing pen, and a piping bag. The only thing you need to have on hand are two eggs and oil to make the brownie.
People were quick to comment and share their thoughts on the festive kits. One user wrote, "They're so cute!" while another shared, "I will love to have something like that!" Per Walmart's website, the kits are limited, but available to purchase. If you don't feel like making a tree, Walmart also sells a Holiday Ornament Brownie kit. The icing colors and candies are different, yet it is the same chocolate brownie mix. However you choose to celebrate your holiday season, it'll be better with semi-homemade treats.
