Aldi's Spring Macarons Arrived At The Perfect Time, Naturally

With spring comes spring-flavored macarons. No doubt about it, one of our favorite things about Aldi is its constant rotation of unique items. The chain shared its weekly roundup on Instagram, which included spring-themed macarons on shelves. The news prompted several shoppers to comment they planned to head to Aldi to check out the seasonal promotions themselves. As one user wrote, "Love the French macarons. Wish there were more flavors."

Aldi's spring assortment of French macarons comes in packs of 12, costing around $5.29 (depending on location). A serving size of three macarons carries 150 calories, which is pretty on par with Oreos' nutrition facts. This colorful spring edition comes with the flavors — pistachio, coconut, lemon, blueberry, raspberry, and blood orange.

Fortunately for fans of Aldi's spring macaron flavors, the store actually carries macarons year-round. While some flavors overlap from one package to the next, the year-round collections also have their own unique flavors for shoppers to try.

Aldi's has several macaron flavors to try

We could probably argue all day about the best macaron flavors, but the point is that Aldi has a lot of them. The chain's main collection, Specially Selected Assorted Macarons, is available year-round and includes six flavors. These flavors are raspberry, lemon, pistachio, vanilla, chocolate, and salted caramel.

In December 2022, Aldi released two more collections in fruit and classic varieties. These packs collectively have the same flavors as the original collection, but divide them up. Around the same time, Aldi released holiday macarons introducing the flavors chocolate orange, peppermint, gingerbread, and chocolate hazelnut. Truly, the secret is to keep your eye out for seasonal flavors.

As for right now, the internet is enjoying the limited-edition macarons. One Instagram user commented that the "Aldi macarons are life!" while another said the raspberry and pistachio flavors were their favorites. Those two particular macaron flavors are available all year, but okay.
