The sweet and steamy Instagram share was paired with a caption in which she announced that Brooks would be joining her at an event for part of her virtual book tour celebrating the release of her latest cookbook, "Trisha's Kitchen: Easy Comfort Food for Friends & Family," which will be published on September 28, according to People. His guest appearance in one of the September 30 time slots of the virtual book tour was "JUST CONFIRMED," as Yearwood wrote in the caption, also using a pet name and referring to Brooks as her "honey."
The Southern star even teased her husband a little bit, and after revealing that the duo would be making her Hot Honey Biscuits recipe, she added: "We'll see if that name sticks after he helps me in the kitchen!" with a crying laughing emoji for punctuation. Brooks actually penned the foreword for the cookbook, and it contains several Brooks-approved dishes according to Yearwood, from a breakfast burger with maple hot butter to "Garth's Teriyaki Bowls," a dish inspired by a sushi place the couple used to visit in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
