Aldi Shopper Reveals The Main Problem With These Cheddar Biscuits

Anyone who has been to Red Lobster knows about the basket of warm cheddar biscuits that servers bring straight to your table. What better way to start off a meal than with some cheesy goodness? This is why Red Lobster's biscuits are so delicious, but you don't have to wait until you sit down at the restaurant to eat them. Making Cheddar Bay biscuits at home is easier than ever now that you can find a mix in stores, but there are also plenty of other similar prepared biscuits for shoppers.

With so many fantastic products, it's no surprise that Aldi is also selling prepared frozen cheesy biscuits. Instagram user @theamazingaldi posted a photo of Mama Cozzi's Cheddar Biscuits, and according to the packaging, these are biscuits with "cheddar, chive & garlic" and "finished with a buttery garlic spread." The packaging also says that these biscuits take only 10 minutes to make, and it comes with eight biscuits inside.

While this sounds super convenient, not every Aldi customer has rave reviews about this product. Though there are shoppers who were excited for the biscuits in the comments section of the Instagram post, one Aldi shopper explained why the biscuits fell short for them.

These cheddar biscuits aren't as big as some shoppers hoped

In the comments section of the post from Instagram user @theamazingaldi, one person shared their thoughts on these cheddar biscuits and why they're not worth buying. Instagram user @coutureonly wrote that their "main disappointment is how small they are. You need two maybe three biscuits to make one Red Lobster one."

If you're looking to serve up a basket of cheesy biscuits the size of Red Lobster's, then this might not be the right frozen biscuit brand for you. In this comment, this shopper said that these biscuits were "good for a frozen replica," but didn't seem overly impressed by the taste. However, another Instagram user thought that they tasted just like ones from Red Lobster and didn't have complaints about the size, so it's a hit with some Aldi fans.
