Jacob is a writer and cook based in Edinburgh. After graduating with a distinction in his MA Conflict, Security, and Development Jacob began writing about food whilst living in Bristol. Here he wrote for EATE Collective, a global collective of chefs, suppliers, and restaurants. Throughout recent months Jacob has been working in close conjunction with Lakes Eats, and plans to release a cookbook highlighting the stories and recipes of his childhood home, The Lake District.


Jacob has both a BSC and MA from the University of Exeter, a Russell Group university known for its academic excellence, sporting prowess, and proximity to the beautiful beaches of Cornwall.
