This Bagel-Inspired Lay's Product Can Only Be Found At Sam's Club

If you are a fan of the trendy everything seasoning that has the likes of Aldi and Trade Joe's selling the seasoning in one form or another — and also has Amanda Freitag gushing over and extolling its virtues and Martha Stewart teaching us how to make our own — then you are going to love what has just popped up on the shelves at Sam's Club. Lay's Kettle Cooked Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese flavored chips are back and you can only find them at Sam's Club, according to Chew Boom.

Lay's Kettle Cooked Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese potato chips made their debut back in 2017, per PR Newswire, as part of the chip company's "Do Us a Flavor" campaign. At the time, three different concepts were selected from millions of entries, and then "transformed" into Lay's newest flavors. The three flavors created were Lay's Crispy Taco, Lay's Kettle Cooked Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese, and Lay's Wavy Fried Green Tomato. Surprisingly, it was not the beloved Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese flavor that took the grand prize of $1 million, but rather the Crispy Taco flavor, per BakeryandSnacks.com. Still, Lay's Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese potato chips clearly developed a fan base, which is probably why the limited time flavor is back.

These Lay's chips were discontinued in 2018

So, what do Lay's Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese chips taste like? Chew Boom shares that they feature the flavor of everything seasoning — which is generally a mix of sea salt, poppy seeds, sesame seeds, garlic and onion flakes, according to Food Network —  coupled with the "undertones" of sweet, but tangy cream cheese. Sounds like the perfect flavors to pair with the crispy, crunchy texture of potato chips! The food site goes on to share that these chips are only available at Sam's Club and come in 3.58-oz bags that are selling for $3.49 each.

This will definitely spark some buzz in the potato chip lovers community. Especially when you consider that one fan of these chips, whose tweets are protected, clearly let her feelings be known that she missed these savory and creamy chips because Lay's tweeted in May 2020, "We hear you, Katherine. Lay's Kettle Cooked Everything Bagel with Cream Cheese flavored potato chips was discontinued in 2018. We'll let our team know you want to see it back!" Another fan of the chips added, "They were my favorite thing ever and I was devastated when they were discontinued." Clearly it is time to put the devastation aside, head over to Sam's Club, and stock up ASAP.
