Dunkin's Popular DIY Halloween Donut Kit Is Returning For 2021

The ubiquitous coffee chain Dunkin' is no stranger to fall-friendly seasonal offerings, from Pumpkin Spice Lattes to apple cider donuts, and everything in between. So, it's no surprise that, in anticipation of the spookiest holiday of the year, Dunkin' is rolling out a slew of new items sure to delight Halloween revelers.

In a press release shared with Mashed, the company announced the return of a festive fan favorite, the Halloween DIY Dunkin' Donut Decorating Kit. The family-friendly DIY donut kit, which first made its debut last year, comes packed with everything you need to dress up your own Halloween treats. Customers can choose their preferred option, available in both 4-count and 9-count packs and choosing between old-fashioned cake donuts or plain yeast donuts.

Each kit is available for a limited time at participating locations and comes supplied with pre-packaged black, orange, and white frostings, as well as three different sprinkle blends for plenty of decorative mixing and matching opportunities. According to Dunkin', the kits "make wickedly good treats for solo celebrations or Halloween get-togethers, big or small."

Dunkin's spooky spider donuts will also be returning

In addition to the return of the festive donut decorating kit, Dunkin' will also be bringing back their creepiest-crawliest donut ever: the Spider Donut. The limited-edition holiday baked good features a yeast donut coated in orange icing and topped with a "spider" made from a glazed chocolate Munchkin donut hole, chocolate drizzle legs, and piped-on orange frosting eyes.

As for the other seasonal offerings, Dunkin's lineup of donuts will be "dressed up in the colors of the season and decorated with orange icing drizzles and sprinkles," and will be "haunting the menu from midnight to morning," according to the press release shared with Mashed. The Halloween DIY Dunkin' Donut Decorating Kits, and all of the chain's spooktacular seasonal baked goods, are available now at participating Dunkin' locations, but for a limited time only.

And if black-and-orange frosted baked goods and spider-topped donuts aren't enough to fulfill your Halloween fantasies, you can always pick up a Dunkin' Halloween Costume to complete the spooky celebration.
