  • A product of New York City and LA's dynamic food scenes, he travels coast-to-coast (and beyond) to savor Michelin-starred meals and seek out strip mall gems.
  • His work includes interviews with a wide range of notable food personalities, including Guy Fieri, Gail Simmons, Scott Conant, Stephanie Izard, Jonathan Waxman, and Eric Wareheim.

Experience

David is a veteran of Static Media, starting as a writer/editor for Mashed and Tasting Table and now serving as assistant managing editor for the food brands. Growing up in Manhattan, Zagat was his bible, and instead of baseball cards, he would collect Gael Greene columns and New York Times restaurant reviews. That culinary enthusiasm continues to this day as a Los Angeles transplant and is reflected in his contributions to the LA Times, Eater LA, Mashed, Chowhound, CNET, and CBS Local. His work has covered everything from extolling the virtues of lamb neck and Korean garlic bread to writing a profile of a former gang member who turned craft beer icon. He is the co-author of "Gradspot.com's Guide to Life After College" published by Simon & Schuster, and his writing has also been featured on the "Billboard Music Awards," BET's "The Players' Awards," and FBE.

Education

David has a bachelor's degree in English and film from Dartmouth College.
