Experience

Combining her passions for food and culture by writing for Mashed is a dream come true. As the daughter of a librarian, Moriah has always loved to read and write. She got her start as a section editor at her college newspaper and has been working as a professional writer ever since. Moriah was a national writer for Spoon University, where she found her passion for food journalism. She has written features for print and digital publications such as Business Insider, The Assembly, and Edible Asheville food magazine.

Education

Moriah has a bachelor's degree in anthropology from Florida State University.
