Every Slurpee Flavor Ranked From Worst To Best

If you're a fan of 7-Eleven convenience stores, you've probably enjoyed an icy, sugary Slurpee: These colorful, fruity, and sweet slushies are a staple at 7-Eleven stores, and there's no denying that for some people, getting a delicious, brain-freeze inducing drink is a major part of the 7-Eleven experience. Even if these drinks stain your tongue and possibly your clothes, there's something so enjoyable about the sweet slurp of a Slurpee.

Most 7-Eleven stores typically have several Slurpee machines filled with different, but mostly delicious flavors of the beverage. You might choose your favorite flavor based on the color you'd like on your tongue for the next few hours; or, you may opt for your Slurpee drink based on taste alone. There's a possibility that you might find yourself stuck and confused as you're trying to decide which colorful treat you feel like enjoying. The next time you're facing such a decision, it's worthwhile to remember that not all Slurpees are created equal. Some flavors of this drink are simply unbeatable while others are passable at best.

11. Coca-Cola

Who doesn't love starting off the summer with a refreshing, carbonated, and ice-cold can of Coca-Cola? The soda is incredible on its own, and it also makes for fun dessert drinks; however, the Coca-Cola Slurpee at 7-Eleven leaves much to be desired. This slushie sports the exact same brown color as the iconic soda, but it just doesn't hit the same way that the original sweet and bubbly drink does. One sip of this Slurpee is bound to leave you craving an actually coca-cola instead.

Yes, this drink does resemble Coca-Cola in terms of flavor, but when directly compared with the soda, this slushie tastes like a watered-down version that lacks the fizziness of an actual can or bottle of coke. This leads to an overly sweet, pretty disappointing slushie, and while fans of the soda may enjoy this drink, they're likely to feel that this flavor doesn't quite do the original soda justice.

10. Blueberry Lemonade Bliss

There's something about a lemonade stand that tends to evoke feelings of nostalgia, particularly if you have childhood memories associated with setting up lemonade stands. Whether you prefer classic lemonade, pink lemonade, or even strawberry lemonade, there's something special about the drink that brings a smile to the lips. Blueberries make for a wonderful fruit flavor and also add an extra hint of sweetness to any tart beverage. The Blueberry Lemonade Bliss Slurpee looks quite pretty although the flavor is a little overwhelming in the grand scheme of things.

It has the slight tartness that most lemon-flavored drinks bring to the table, which is quite pleasant, but the tangy lemon flavor overshadows the hints of blueberry. While the drink tastes fairly decent, the flavors aren't quite balanced enough to truly enjoy, and overall, this drink leaves the tastebuds wanting more. If you're a lemonade lover then you might end up enjoying this Slurpee flavor, although, if you want the most bang for your buck, there are other flavors that will probably leave you far more satisfied.

9. Mango Lemonade

Ayesha Curry may consider herself a mango expert, but you don't have to be a food celebrity to appreciate the sweet, tropical fruit that is mango, and you certainly don't need to be a mango expert to enjoy the Mango Lemonade Slurpee. This slushie is a light orange, refreshing-looking sweet drink that pairs tropical juicy fruit mango flavor with the tart taste of cold lemonade. Though this isn't the most expected of fruit pairings, it certainly does make for an intriguing combo.

Even though this sweet Mango Lemonade slushie is quite refreshing and the tropical taste of mango is quite solid when put with the tartness of lemonade, something feels a little off about this flavor. Perhaps it's because the sweet-yet-tart citrusy flavor overpowers the mango, and while this doesn't make for a horrible slushie, it's certainly not the best either. There are certainly other flavors at 7-Eleven that are far more compelling and exciting than this option.

8. Brisk Blood Orange

The blood orange fruit is a slightly more bitter version of the standard navel orange that has a much deeper, red color underneath the skin. Blood orange is commonly used as a flavoring in fruit drinks and sodas. The fruit has inspired a Slurpee flavor called Brisk Blood Orange flavor which is named after a Brisk iced tea brand that offers several fruity flavors of its own. You may be intrigued by this flavor even if you aren't a Brisk iced tea fan.

This drink has an orange-red color akin to the hue of the blood orange. This Slurpee had a solid fruit flavor to it that isn't all that bad. This flavor tastes heavily like iced tea, which makes sense since this is a Brisk tea flavored slushie. The tea makes for a surprising yet enjoyable addition to a Slurpee although the overall taste lacks an intense punch of citrus and blood orange. Overall, this is a pretty solid addition to the Slurpee lineup, and though it's unlikely to be your first choice of Slurpee flavor, you probably wouldn't turn down a Brisk Blood Orange Slurpee if you were offered one.

7. Piña Colada

If you like piña coladas then you should definitely opt for the Piña Colada Slurpee flavor. This flavor is described by 7-Eleven as a drink that will take you to a tropical paradise with a single sip. The slushie drink is the exact same color as a cold piña colada, and though it isn't alcoholic, it offers the same tropical, fruity, and fun kick as the original cocktail. It definitely delivers on the creamy, delicious pineapple and coconut flavors.

This slushie flavor is a little milder as compared to other 7-Eleven Slurpees, so it can be a little hit or miss depending on whether or not you prefer something a little more flavorful. Additionally, you might not enjoy this drink if you're not a fan of coconut. Overall, the drink is quite sweet and the fruity, tropical flavors are a little bit more underwhelming since they are somewhat buried under the sugary taste. While you'll probably enjoy this drink, you might end up craving the creamy coconut taste of a classic piña colada cocktail.

6. MTN DEW Citrus

Though some may think that green food is unappetizing, the list of delicious green-colored foods is endless; broccoli salads, spinach wraps, pistachio ice cream, and 7-Eleven's MTN DEW Citrus Slurpee are just some examples of all the delicious green items out there. The MTN DEW Citrus Slurpee will probably remind you of lemons and limes. This drink takes the flavors you might find in a citrus Mountain Dew product and turns them into a sugary cool beverage. If you like Mountain Dew, you will likely find yourself enjoying this drink as it's essentially a slushie version of the popular soda.

The MTN DEW Citrus tastes pretty sweet although it's not as sugary as some of the other flavors that 7-Eleven offers. If you have a sweet tooth, then you'll be met with a nice citrusy Slurpee that will definitely quench your thirst. It solidly evokes Mountain Dew flavors, and aside from the overt sweetness, and the green coloring, which may make you long for other brightly colored Slurpee flavors such as Cherry or Brisk Blood Orange. There's nothing too disappointing about this slushie, and overall, it makes for a solid flavor choice.

5. vitaminwater xxx

The vitaminwater xxx flavored Slurpee is based on the VitaminWater brand's Acai-Blueberry-Pomegranate flavor which has a dark red color, and a fruity, berry taste. This Slurpee flavor is depicted on the 7-Eleven website as having a somewhat off-putting reddish-brown color, along with a long, strange name that sounds like it could be the title of a new spy movie. The drink will definitely spark your curiosity although that isn't necessarily a good thing.

This slushie claim to have b3, b6, and b1 vitamins, and admittedly, the overall taste isn't half bad. The pomegranate and blueberry flavors are quite sweet and rich and complement each other nicely. Though it might not look as pretty and popping as a cherry or blue raspberry smoothie, it's actually rather refreshing, and the flavor seems to add an extra level of depth to the overall sugary sensation.

While the drink tastes more like a piece of blueberry and pomegranate candy, soda, or something a little more artificial than fruit, this isn't a detriment to the overall taste; rather, the flavor is pleasantly surprising, and even though the drink isn't quite iconic or delicious, it makes for an enjoyable beverage.

4. Peach Perfect

Peaches are a light and sweet type of fruit that is perfect for flavoring drinks such as sweet iced tea. 7-Eleven's ice-cold  Perfect Peach flavored slushie drink has a soft peach-yellow coloring. Putting "perfect" in the name of any flavor already sets the bar pretty high for people in terms of expectations. While nothing in life is perfect, the name of this drink urges one to expect an iconic and incredible Slurpee flavor.

Even though this flavor is far from perfect, it is still really good. Perfect Peach tastes a lot less like a sugary candy than some of the other Slurpee flavors, which allows the fruity flavor to prevail in this peachy drink. Since the overall taste is more natural, this drink tastes more like a juice than a sweet, carbonated soda drink. When placed alongside other slushies that taste pretty sugary, this much milder flavor is a pleasant addition to the Slurpee lineup that you may find yourself craving and ordering again.

3. Pineapple Whip

Once you've taken a sip of the pineapple Slurpee at 7-Eleven, there's no going back. If you've tried any other pineapple-flavored desserts or treats such as a serving of Dole Whip from Disneyland, then you're aware of the unforgettable tropical flavor that pineapple whip brings to the table. The effect of pineapple whip is so indescribably good and 7-Eleven's Pineapple Whip Slurpee achieves a similarly exciting, incredible effect.

This bright yellow drink might not be your go-to just yet, but once you've tried this drink, it's hard to go back. Even though a slushie can't really take on the creamy whipped quality of Dole Whip and other pineapple desserts, the flavor of this Slurpee makes up for it tenfold. The drink tastes heavily of tropical pineapple and is very sweet and juicy. This is one of those flavors that you shouldn't go through life without trying, and if you love all things pineapple, then this Slurpee will definitely make your day if you choose to opt for this wonderful flavor.

2. Cherry

Cherry is a classic, staple flavor among drink lovers, and beverages such as cherry juices, cherry sodas, and cherry slushies, are some of the most iconic drink flavors out there. Though cherry may stain your clothes and your lips red, it's one of those fruity, juicy flavors that many people feel is worth any possible red mess, and that goes for 7-Eleven's Cherry Slurpee. This drink is so popular that many people simply refer to it as the "red flavor."

Though the cherry Slurpee tastes less like cherries and more like cherry candy, it's an incredibly delicious flavor, and a great fallback choice if you can't decide between two different slushie flavors. You definitely won't be stuck with this flavor and you'll always find yourself craving the sweet cherry goodness that each sip brings. There's really nothing negative about this flavor so if you've served yourself a sweet cherry Slurpee, then rest assured that you're in for a consistently sweet, flavorful, and delicious drink.

1. Blue Raspberry

7-Eleven's Blue Raspberry Slurpee is a bright blue slushie drink that's just as iconic as its cherry counterpart. As the name suggests, this icy drink has a bright blue color. Although blue raspberries are not a real type of fruit, this slushie drink is a prime example that blue and raspberry do in fact go together and this incredible flavor will never let you down. There's a reason why drinks and products such as Sour Patch's Blue Raspberry flavored candies are so popular among fans, and the Blue Raspberry Slurpee is similarly popular and beloved.

It's difficult to describe the exact flavor of this beverage, although it definitely contains the sweet flavor of raspberries. While the exact taste of this blue drink is difficult to pinpoint, it is definitely pretty good. If cherry isn't your go-to Slurpee flavor, then there's a good chance it's Blue Raspberry, and if it's not, then you should definitely go for this slushie flavor the next time you're at a 7-Eleven. This drink is so good that it might just become your favorite slushie flavor ever.
