Experience
Matt Lardie is a food and travel writer based in North Carolina, but frequently found wandering. He has written for outlets such as Bon Appétit, Eater, Robb Report, The Kitchn, Apartment Therapy, and more. In past lives he has been a bartender, pastry chef, cheesemaker, waiter, and restaurant assistant manager. When not thinking about, writing about, or eating food he can be found at home with his husband, pets, and far too many houseplants.
Education
Matt graduated from Elon University with a degree in Political Science and focuses in Spanish, Latin American Studies, and International Relations. He has also studied Sustainable Agriculture, and hopes to pursue a Master’s Degree in Gastronomy with a focus on Culinary Anthropology.
