Samantha is a freelance writer who enjoys researching the history behind America's favorite grocery store products and restaurants. She joined the Mashed team in 2022 as a features writer. In her spare time, she enjoys perfecting new recipes and perusing the aisles of her local Trader Joe's.

Education

Samantha has a B.A. in creative writing from Purchase College, and an MFA in creative writing from Manhattanville College. Her concentration was fiction, but she also delved into screenwriting as part of her master's program.
