  • Crystal Antonace first received recognition for her writing in 2006 from the National Communication Association for two separate theses.
  • Since then, she has been published in various independent zines across the country for her creative writing.
  • Crystal has worked as a grant writer for a local non-profit benefiting pregnant women in need in Chicago, where she was responsible for cultivating grants to present to different prospects for funding.


Crystal began her career in writing at the College of Wooster. She then went on to Loyola University, completing half of her Master's degree in English literature. She left Loyola to pursue creative writing and found a passion for holistic land management and animal welfare. She has written for several local publications and does freelance blog posts for various companies across the U.S. In her specialization in natural land management, Crystal has developed a passion for simple, real food as a way to heal the body. She currently makes raw yogurt and cheese for a local farm in Texas while also assisting in animal conservation practices on the farm. Her passion remains in creative writing where she regularly submits poetry to various publications such as "The Indiana Review" and "Sky Island Journal."
