Experience

Becki has a lifelong passion for food and began watching Food Network shortly after its debut in the early '90s. She has worked in restaurants (both front and back of the house) and food retail. In college, she was a writer and editor for The Harvard Crimson while blogging about food and wellness on the side. Becki has also worked in research, offering a wealth of experience in fact-checking and deep-diving into highly specific topics. She began writing for Static Media in 2016 and joined the editing team in 2017. Her focus on food brands, particularly editing for Mashed, began in 2023.

Education

Becki has a bachelor's degree in psychology from Harvard University and a master's in counseling psychology from Boston College.
