Experience
Kate started her culinary career in 2012 by teaching cooking classes at Whole Foods Market. Drawing on her experience trying new recipes and reading everything she could about cooking, she was able to bridge the gap between specialty groceries and the average suburban shopper in her cooking classes. She later moved to a role as marketing manager for a start-up specialty grocer in the suburbs of Chicago. Kate launched her blog, Gift of Hospitality, in 2017, where she takes vintage recipes and updates them for modern cooks. She practices her skills in the kitchen on a daily basis, when she cooks for her husband and two boys.
Education
Kate has her bachelor's degree in business from University of Wisconsin-Madison.
