Colin McCandless

Colin has worked as a professional writer for more than 15 years. He cut his teeth as a journalist for the The Franklin Press in Franklin, North Carolina, where he gained extensive experience writing on a variety of topics, and wrote a weekly humor column entitled "News of the Weird." Colin later spent five years working as a PR/marketing director for a nonprofit that served children in transition within the foster care system, handling its social media pages, writing newsletters, pitching stories to media, and updating website content, among other roles.
