  • Elliott Pak is a published author, digital marketer, and food enthusiast.
  • He left his home in California and traveled to over 25 countries, "studying" the food along the way, until finally settling down in Seoul, South Korea.
  • When he isn't writing about food, travel, personal development, or marketing, he spends his time tinkering with new recipes in the kitchen and writing his food newsletter: Tangy Language.

Experience

Elliott is an accomplished wordsmith, published author, and digital marketer. He has spent time in several fields, including hospitality, music, and film — but while backpacking through Southeast Asia, he discovered his true passions: storytelling, teaching, and the language of food. Since then, he has published an English textbook with one of the largest publishers in Korea, taught literature in one of the most competitive education environments in the world, and written for hundreds of clients through his copywriting and SEO business. But when the end of the day comes, he spends most of his time trying to recreate the most delicious recipes he's found around the world in the easiest way possible — and to pass that information on to others in a funny and relatable way. He is currently probably eating a Mexican Pizza from Taco Bell.

Education

Elliott has a B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management with a focus on Event Management, as well as a minor in Business Marketing from San Diego State University. He also spent time studying marketing and writing at KEDGE Business School in the south of France.
