Experience

Kathryn is a seasoned food service professional, who owns and operates a small company that prepared and served organic meals in suburban private school settings. She also prepares and serves organic baked goods at local farmers' markets. Her "lunch lady" experience led to the publishing of her cook book, "Get Your Kids Off Crap-The Hows and Whys of the Real Food Revolution." She also worked as a food columnist, sports columnist, editor, proofreader, reporter, photographer, and copy editor for a local publication. Kathryn also spent seven years driving the Kona Ice truck locally, and is well known as, not just "Miss Kathy, the lunch lady" but "the Kona lady" as well.

Education

Kathryn earned two Bachelor's from Michigan State University, in English and Telecommunication, as well as a Film Studies Thematic. She initially had plans of becoming a screenwriter (she's still working on that screenplay), but her path led her in a different direction, to food service and hospitality. This has served as the basis for her current endeavor.
