- She loves discovering the best food tours and spots to enjoy a homecooked, authentic meal, and has featured them in her published travel writing for Peru, Idaho, West Virginia, Japan, and Mauritius.
- In 2019, Rachael became one of the lead English travel writers for Worldpackers, writing about introspective topics within the realm of volunteer exchange programs abroad.
Experience
Rachael began writing about her travel experiences on her personal blog, which focused on seeking inner growth through cultural experiences. In 2017, she attended writing, business, and coding workshops between travel opportunities in Bali and absorbed valuable insight that would push her to continue pursuing travel writing as a career. Rachael has since dabbled in graphic design and writing for various freelance clients. In 2022, she became a food journalist for Static Media and a travel writer and researcher for an itinerary creation app called Tripio. She researches the very best travel experiences, hidden gems, adventures, and restaurants in various countries or cities for Tripio, as well as writing featured destination articles and international restaurant spotlights. At Static Media, her favorite content to write involves delicious cultural traditions around the world, food history, and anything to do with Asian cuisine.
Education
Rachael has a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts with an emphasis in Oil Painting. She had the opportunity to take several advanced creative writing and humanities courses throughout her college career.
